Editorial Policy
World Property Forum covers international property markets for buyers, investors, owners and expats. Our reporting connects property data, finance, foreign ownership and residency rules, with editorial oversight of AI-assisted research and writing.
Evidence and attribution
We prioritise national statistics agencies, central banks, regulators, official programme authorities and original property research. We prefer two independent reputable sources. Where only one reputable primary or major-outlet source is available, reporting must distinguish its evidence from clearly attributed WPF analysis. Sponsored-only material is not a sufficient basis for independent editorial reporting.
Statistics must be traceable to a cited source. Currency, geography, measurement period and the difference between asking prices, completed transactions and forecasts matter. We do not substitute generic country figures for article-specific evidence or invent dates. Readers should check source dates before relying on changing market conditions.
Reporting, analysis and aggregated news
Original articles focus on one event or topic, explain its property-market relevance, and separate sourced facts from interpretation. Forecasts and scenarios are not guarantees. Aggregated news links to the original publisher; a headline or short snippet is not a substitute for reading the underlying report. Country guides and programme comparisons provide research context, not individual recommendations.
AI assistance and publication checks
AI tools assist research, drafting, summaries and illustrations. Their output is subject to evidence, relevance and factual checks; AI assistance is not itself a source. New original articles must meet our source and depth standards before publication. Unresolved factual problems, duplicates and unsupported claims are held rather than published. Illustrative imagery should not be treated as proof of a specific transaction or development.
Corrections, updates and withdrawals
To report an error, use our contact page and supply the page URL, disputed passage and supporting source. A later rule change is distinguished from an error in the original report. Material that cannot be supported may be corrected, consolidated or withdrawn; original URLs are preserved through relevant redirects where appropriate. Publication and update dates serve different purposes and should not be confused.
Independence and commercial disclosure
Affiliate commissions and advertising help fund the site but do not determine editorial conclusions. Commercial relationships must be disclosed, and sponsored sources are not treated as independent corroboration. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
Limits of our coverage
Content is informational and does not constitute financial, legal, tax, immigration or property investment advice. Ownership and residency rules can change and depend on individual circumstances. Confirm current requirements with the relevant authority and obtain qualified local advice before committing funds.
